Here are some of our past and present clients:
Brett Davidson is Africa regional coordinator for the Health Media Initiative of the Open Society Institute’s Public Health Program. He works with OSI’s public health grantees in east and southern Africa, helping them strategise advocacy campaigns and get media exposure for their work. Two major campaigns at present are the Stop Stockouts campaign and the End Forced Sterilisation campaign.
Brett is also media consultant to the Regional Hunger and Vulnerability Programme (RHVP), which conducts research and advocacy work on social protection in several southern African countries. His work for RHVP included scripting and co-directing a 30-minute documentary for RHVP on cash transfers in southern Africa. The documentary, A Transfer Out of Poverty, can be found on YouTube.
Brett also works on the Citizen Journalism in Africa project, managed by Sangonet and Hivos.
Wingseed Media CC is presently doing PR for the acclaimed television programme on living with HIV, Siyayinqoba/Beat It!, which airs on SABC1 every Thursday at 13h30 and on CTV, Bay TV and Soweto TV on Saturdays at 11h00.
We are wrapping up a survey of grassroots newspapers in the Western Cape province, and feasibility study for the Media Development and Diversity Agency (MDDA).
We recently produced a series of mock radio programmes for the International Budget Partnership, for use in training on applied budget work.
